Policies and FAQ's
What are your hours?
Our regular office hours are currently Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Seminars, workshops and meetings may be scheduled during daytime and evening hours and on weekends.
When and how do I pay?
Payment is requested prior to occupying the space. You can pay by cash (we'll provide a receipt) or check. Credit cards coming soon. We ask that you pay in person for your first payment so you can sign a lease/terms of agreement. From then on, you can pay in person or by mail.
How about cell phone use in the space?
This is a community space, so we ask that you please be considerate of your neighbors when taking phone calls. That said, this is a community space where business and discussion is encouraged, so please bring headphones if you’re concerned about noise. The conference room and kitchen both have doors...so those rooms can be used for privacy if they aren't already occupied. If you're concerned about possible noise, we offer headphone rentals for $5 per day.
What if I only want to pay for half a day or any other partial payment?
There will not be any partial day redemption or discount. There are no rollover days with monthly plans. There are no refunds.
What would it take for you to kick me out?
It would take a lot for us to get rid of you. But, if you disturb the space in a detrimental way, we will ask you to leave and your membership will be revoked without a refund.
Do I need to clean up after myself?
We don't hire maids. This is a self-sustaining community space, so please help keep it clean and do your own dishes. We’ll do our part to keep the place clean, too.
What can’t I do?
We do not allow illegal BitTorent, no pr0n nor unethical businesses. If you violate these terms you will be asked to leave and your membership will be revoked without refund.
Can I print my business plan at LVS?
If you plan on printing more than twenty-five pages per month, we ask that you have it done elsewhere. There is a UPS Store not too far from our location.
Who’s responsible?
We are not responsible for your property, be sure to insure your own belongings/equipment or pay for a membership that allows locked storage. That said, we keep the space as secure as possible.
Can I receive mail at LVS?
Yes, you can if you are a Depot, Freight Train, Platform or Passenger member. Otherwise, we will send the mail back to the sender. See our Membership Details.

La Venture Station provides an inviting and fun environment that provides meaningful interaction between community members. The opportunity for collaboration and business partnerships is a valuable part of the member experience. Because the community will also help direct the activities and resources available there, members should feel uniquely connected to the space - it will be their work home away from home.
